“We had a great 5 days in the lodge and cottage for my dad's 80th birthday , 4 generations in the house ranging from 9 months to 89 years.”

Loads of room for all. Very well equipped, very comfortable. Gardens lovely, specially in the morning watching the pheasants, and hares . Scenery fabulous. Lovely walks and plenty of castles and Country parks to see. House keeper very helpful. There was 20 adults and 6 children under 4 in our party we fitted in no problem at all so thankful we managed to get together from all over Britain.

The elegant drawing room and stunning dining room at the front of the house create the perfect ambience for entertaining - ideal for small weddings, family reunions, special celebrations, whilst the rear of the house allows relaxed family living - a fabulous large kitchen with wood burning stove and French doors to the walled garden, a TV room and a games room. The adjoining cottage, accessed through the games room, has a lovely sitting room with a dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, and two superking bedrooms with en suites which can be arranged as two twin bedded rooms if preferred. The extensive gardens provide excellent views of the Cheviots with plenty of space for activities, games, etc. The walled garden has two patios, fully furnished with loungers, tables and chairs, and a stone-walled barbecue area for 20+. Well-behaved dogs are welcome and there are heated kennels in the courtyard. Please do not allow the dogs in the house.
