Situated on the banks of the River Conon, this wonderful detached holiday home is the perfect base for exploring the Highlands. Located just 18 miles from Inverness and only 2 miles from the beautiful town of Strathpeffer, you are in easy reach of the beautiful Black Isle and its spectacular beaches, and in easy reach of Ullapool and the glorious west coast and mountains. However, on your doorstep is the tranquil and less explored Strathconon which winds it's way up into the foothills of Ben Wyvis, the local Munro (over 3000ft mountain). Home to herds of red deer and the breeding ground for the Golden Eagle, with rivers and lochs, Strathconon is a hidden Highland gem. Mountain biking tracks start from just up the road in Contin and challenge riders of all levels of skill. Wild swimming in the nearby Loch Achilty is just a short drive. The property offers guests a superb level of comfort throughout, well in excess of a 5 star standard.
