  • "We had a very comfortable stay at this lovely cottage."

Exploring the Highlands was an amazing experience and even better when coming to relax at Corrie Burns. It had everything we could think of therefore making us feel at home. The kids were very much occupied with the board games that were present at the property. We often come to the scottish Highlands and have stayed at many cottages and we as family agree that Corrie Burns has to be one of the top ones for us. The location was fantastic and convenient for us explore many areas of the Highlands. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant and we would definitely recommend this cottage to others.

Ullapool, nestling on the shores of Loch Broom and overlooking the Summer Isles, is the largest settlement in Wester Ross. This picturesque town was designed in the 18th Century by Thomas Telford and boasts delightful, whitewashed buildings and is also the main terminus for the ferry to Stornoway, the principal town in the Western Isles. The town offers some lovely pubs and restaurants, a range of shops including a well-stocked supermarket, a challenging coastal golf course and a museum and Visitor Centre on West Argyle Street for those wishing to discover more about the area. The museum covers a range of topics including crofting, fishing, emigration and the history of the town. The National Trust for Scotland Inverewe Gardens, created by Osgood MacKenzie who collected plants from all parts of the world, is a particular highlight.
