The property

Taigh an Uillt is ideal for a family holiday and the dog is welcome too! Being just a very short walk from a lovely sandy beach means plenty of fun days for children and healthy romps for the 4 legged member of the family! However, this whole peninsula is just a wealth of white sandy beaches - each with their own distinctive character. Uig Sands are on a par with Luskentyre in Harris given the vast scale of the various beaches which form these sands. There is a community shop which is very well stocked and also a community centre which houses a museum and cafe. Miavaig Harbour where you can often buy freshly-landed shellfish in the morning is just a short drive. Stornoway is just an hour drive and Harris just over an hour and a half. The islands can be reached by flights from Edinburgh, Glasgow or Inverness; or by ferry from Uig on Skye to Tarbert, or Ullapool to Stornoway.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £100.
