“This was a fantastic house at the end of a single track road, so very little traffic.”
It is a dog friendly premises, however, there are so many sheep, we didn’t feel comfortable about letting the dogs off the lead when out and about, but we did find the fencing adequate so the dogs didn’t get out.
There were some things missing in the house that should be quite simple to rectify. There could be side tables in the lounge, as the distance to the glass table in the middle is quite a distance with a hot drink - a lot of stretching.
A soup ladle would have been useful, and a pastry brush, as we bought the local beef pie with pastry.
We felt that with the dogs and, the wet weather that we unfortunately had, a mat at the back doors in the kitchen would have been useful to help with the cleaning of the kitchen floor.
All in all this a great converted Croft house - we would consider going back - the views (in good weather) are terrific.
