  • "We had a marvellous christmas break at Carsaig."

Amy and Sam were wonderful hosts and we had everything we needed to make it special- including the Christmas tree. Fortunately the power outages due to the storm were minimal and our experience was not marred by this. A breathtaking setting for multigenerational break, stags in the garden, eagles overhead, forever memories, thankyou.

  • "Suberb family holiday in amazing accommodation."

Such a wonderful peaceful and relaxing location. Three generations of our family loved every minute and didn’t want to leave. Can’t recommend highly enough.

  • "Carsaig House is very well-equipped and has room for all."

A family can eat in the kitchen or the large dining room. The location is remote, so unless you like a lot of driving it's best to make your own amusements at Carsaig. There is plenty space for outdoor activities. There is a black sand beach right in front of the house.

Location is awesome with own gardens for games and beach within two minute walk as well as stunning views. House is is great mix of modern comforts with historic decoration in keeping with the island and is a fantastic space for groups. Will definitely book again.

  • "Great property and fantastic location."

Amy and Sam were great hosts and were very helpful with local recommendations. The house is amazing and has everything you would need. We had a party of 11 and had more than enough space. Rooms are well presented and comfortable. Location is great for walks along the beach with plenty of local wildlife. We would highly recommend a stay at Carsaig House if you want somewhere to relax and enjoy all Mull has to offer.

A stunning property at an amazing location, couldn't have asked for anything more, also a lovely couple who look after the estate, would love to return ❤❤❤

  • "Fantastic house in a great location."

Everything you need for an awesome holiday. Very comfortable. Fires on the beach and games room are highlights. Kitchen exceptionally well equipped (although another freezer would be handy). Walks from the house have amazing views. Sad to leave, we loved this place.

  • "Lovely house and a good size for 15 of us in three generations and very comfortable."

Amy and Sam couldn't have been more helpful: nothing was too much trouble. Could do with more outdoor furniture: only room for 8 round the table. Somewhere to stand BBQs would be nice instead of having to use them on the ground.

The house feels like a home even though it is so filled with history. The house is wonderful and all my guests were super impressed.

  • "Stayed here in May, with three generations, to celebrate my 60th birthday."

The accommodation was wonderful, masses of space, comfortable rooms, hot water endless. Blown away by the garden, the views and location ...but not physically by the weather, which was actually perfect for the week. Do bring your midge spray though, and remember to close the windows if the lights are on! James and Sandra helped with every little enquiry ...thanks ...and I would recommend picking some dishes up from the Lochbuie Larder, although the huge, well-equipped kitchen in the house makes cooking a pleasure. Thanks - a very special trip.

  • "My family and I have just returned from a fabulous holiday in Carsaig House on the wonderful island of Mull to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday."

Carsaig House was absolutely beautiful and an excellent location for our celebration. It would be appreciated if you could pass on our thanks to the owners for allowing us to use their property and it would be apprecated if you could also pass on to the owners how helpful the housekeepers, Sam and Amy were in making the holiday so special. Anything we needed from them was provided quickly and professionally and they were such a friendly couple for whom nothing was too much trouble. This included leaving a bouquet flowers and a birthday card for my wife which was a lovely touch and much appreciated. All my family thoroughly enjoyed the holiday and declared it "the best holiday ever", with Carsaig House being the star of the show.

  • "Carsaig House was wonderful and we had good weather the whole week."

We (parents) were here with three teenage children and 4 seniors (grand-parents and great-aunt and great uncle). The location is simply breath-taking. The kitchen is outstanding which is excellent given the extent to which we are all 'foodies'. Either the owner or previous tenants had left plenty of provisions (like flour, sugar, spices, herbs and baking soda), which was very much appreciated. There was an intermittent mobile signal from the house (20% of the time), so I was glad to have a land-line which worked. We would definitely recommend Carsaig House as a fabulous family retreat and you can depend on the house feeling very much like a 'home'.
