Glenfeochan House is a lovely, Victorian, turreted holiday house providing luxury self-catering accommodation just south of Oban on the west coast of Scotland.

Overlooking Loch Feochan and set in parkland beside a large 7-acre freshwater lake, this has to be one of the most desirable holiday locations in Scotland.

The house is surrounded by mature gardens, with the Victorian Arboretum dating from 1840, and a productive 1½-acre walled garden.

With its traditional dining room and elegant drawing room, the accommodation is both spacious and comfortable and is well equipped for family living, being regularly used by the owners themselves.

Children are easily entertained at the house, and Oban has a swimming pool, ten-pin bowling, cinema and beaches.

It is also possible to sail from Oban to Mull, then on to visit Iona in a day's trip.

This area of the west coast offers a wide variety of landscapes, from the hummocky hills towards the coast to the great mountain range further north at Glencoe.

A professional-standard tennis court is available.
