Borenich is a well-appointed, comfortable house, ideally located overlooking Loch Tummel in one of the most beautiful parts of Perthshire.
Views across the loch are spectacular, with a range of mountains, including the well-known Munro, Schiehallion, extensive moorlands and natural woodland typical of this area. It is famous for its large trees, which provide a range of ever-changing colour throughout the seasons; autumn is truly spectacular. Within easy reach, there is a great selection of walks, cycle routes and places to relax.
The village of Blair Atholl and the small town of Pitlochry are only a few miles away: between them they provide a range of interesting excursions, including a theatre, Britain’s smallest distillery, Edradour, a working brewery at the Moulin Inn, Blair Castle, and a variety of interesting shops and restaurants.
To the west lies the remote small village of Kinloch Rannoch, which is located at the east end of Loch Rannoch. The road continues west, along the length of the loch, to Rannoch Station, where it terminates on the edge of Rannoch Moor. It is possible to catch a train to Glasgow or Fort William from here for those wishing an excursion across this wild and uninhabited part of Scotland.
This house is a great place to relax, as inside there is plenty of social space providing rooms for gathering together or to find a quiet corner to read. For those travelling with sporting interests in mind, there is space to store bikes and other equipment.
The garden is enclosed and suitable for children to play in and, with such tremendous views, is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
