Situated on a 1,000-acre Highland estate, Geddes House is a lovely old Georgian family home set in extensive wooded grounds on the southern side of the Moray Firth. The house was built in 1780 by George Mackintosh, a direct ancestor of the present owners who have made the house available for large family holidays.

There is plenty of scope for walking, visiting historical sites and enjoying the lovely Scottish countryside, and trout fishing is available on the tranquil and very beautiful lochs within easy walking distance of the house. This is a family home, and guests are invited to make it their own home for the duration of their stay.

The gardens and grounds are large, and the estate can offer fishing, stalking and shooting in season.

Nairn, just a short drive from the house, has one of the area's finest sandy beaches, and it is also home to one of Scotland's championship golf courses. Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, is only a 20-minute drive, and regular flights from London land at its airport.
