Property information

Burn Cottage was an old traditional Mull Cottage and named so because of the Ardow Burn which tumbles past the house, a tranquil sound to enjoy when sitting outside. In 2014 it has undergone a total transformation into a now strikingly beautiful and luxurious cottage for 4 but with plenty of space.

The choice of interior colours has created a calmness and lightness which is surprising given the age of the cottage. The pale stone floors, pale wood furniture and soft grey and taupe tones work well in this newly created space.

The kitchen is large and well equipped and also encompasses the dining room. The sitting room is a cosy place with a woodburning stove and good sized TV and the bedrooms are both spacious and well furnished.

Being not too far from Tobermory for major shopping trips and handy for the Dervaig store for daily top ups, the cottage is in an ideal spot. Then on those perfect days you are just over the hill from the fabulously white beach at Calgary.

We are sure that those regular LHH guests will recognise yet another tip top holiday cottage coming into the portfolio and those who haven’t yet tried the best can start here!

    A big thank you to Wynne and her colleagues at LHH. My family and I have just returned from a two week holiday at Burn Cottage where we had a wonderful time in spite of the weather. The cottage and its location were lovely, all we had hoped for. We also met Peter and Emma, the owners, who could not have been kinder or more helpful to us. We look forward to our next holiday with LHH and have been spreading the good word to our neighbours and friends! Once again thank you.
